Due Diligence

Anyone can pick up a camera or prepare a social media post. However, professionals understand something crucial: that there are legal and ethical codes which broadcasters and publishers should abide by. We take this due diligence seriously.

Filming Consent

Before video shoots, clients should obtain all filming consents and permissions, including approval for drone filming. Please inform everyone involved that a production is taking place.

Anyone appearing in photos or on camera needs to give consent to being recorded. If they are under 18, we’ll need written approval from a parent or guardian.

During live events, please gain all necessary permissions, including access to the venue’s mixing desk. You are also responsible for organizing camera positions ahead of time. Do let us know in advance how many cameras angles you need and if you would like shots of the audience. During filming, please ensure audience members or props do not obstruct the camera.

Please note that live filming and broadcasting comes with some challenges, for example: camera jolts, intrusive noises, flash photography and scheduling delays. If a live show is delayed, we may not be able to stay later than planned.

Kindly let us know in advance if you plan to use other contractors on the same production.

We ask that you do not use any part of the final product out of its original context as it may open you up to legal action. This includes taking and reposting screenshots.
